Run the Wild.

The Brief.

Simon from Run the Wild approached us with the task of branding and developing a website for his new adventure running holiday business. As a pretty smart marketer himself he already had the idea of the visual style for his logo, the name of his company and a great tag line ("Exploring places not running races"). Our initial task was to visualise his concept and establish a digital framework and style for the new company to sit under.

The Approach.

With Matt being into his endurance sports this was a great project for us to get our teeth into. Mark created the logo concepts along with brand guidelines on when and how to use the various logo iterations and Ant designed and developed the site with Expression Engine giving it the opportunity to easily grow and expand as the company starts to offer more products and services. Often we're stuck using stock images or poor photos but as a runner and mountaineer Simon had some excellent photography for us to use, so taking advantage of this by showing them as big as possible was out key at the outset.

The Result.

We really love this site.

It's not huge or complex in size but is simple, easy to use, makes best use of the photography and the design fits perfectly with the logo, branding and products. We're really excited to see where the company goes. So far feedback on the site and branding has been superb, bookings are coming in and the company is looking to grow it's holiday offers substantially over the next few months.
